This site is dedicated to keeping its readers abreast of property market trends, tips on buying, selling and letting properties and topics concerning Benoni Home Owners will also be published.
My vision for this site is to be an online source of information for anything and everything that happens in Benoni, right at the finger tips of who ever would like to access this information. I would also like to use this site as a means of getting us to stand together, and help and support one another whether it be in business or for example beating crime in Benoni. Together we have the power to overcome anything.

My Name is Jaco Viljoen. born 1982.05.29
I grew up in Crystal Park went to Putfontein Primary and then to Noorderlug Gekombineerde skool. I matriculated in 2000 we were known as the millennium bugs.
after school I worked as an estate agent for White horse just as they opened their doors.
I did quite well, although at 18 you dont have a clue on how to budget so I decided I would rather get a “real job” I worked for a company that subcontracts to the major banks to check deposits while I studied to become a draughtsman. When I received my diploma I applied for 2 jobs both interviewers were interested in me. I opted for the closer to home one: Girlock Brakes based in Isando.
I started as a junior Draughtsman to the Engineering manager.
He was always to busy to help so I quickly realised if I was going to get anywhere in this company I was going to have to find out everything for myself, I struggled for the first 6 months not getting much assistance and no one was interested in me.
Then suddenly it all just came togetherfrom my 7 month until I gave in my resignation letter I had grown within the company at an incredible rate from junior Draughtsman to Draughtsman,Designer,Drawing office manager to Project Leader.
At this time I was working myself to the ground. I had two assistant draughtsman and I was supervising 2 toolrooms and 2 production lines.
And My son was born on 2005.04.12
So I wanted to spend Some time with my family.(I loved my Job by the way)
I decided after a lot of thinking to resign from my current job and go back to Real estate.
I was scared to death.
Natasha wasn’t working and I only had a little money to get me going.
I shot off and found a company based in Centurion.(Kayaramina Properties)
I started as an agent and quickly the management decided I should open the second branch in Crystal Park.
I started the office from My home in Crystal Park to test the market and see if it was going to work. I very quickly got some houses sold and got a few agents to join me. I must have employed 40 agents and They all failed. All but one : Poppy Dlamini
after 1 year we moved into an office in Crystal Park Centre.
I was excited it felt as if i owned this company I was so proud of the name and everyone knew it.
well I don’t want to go into all the details but the owners had declared themselves bankrupt and this affected me quite badly.
I lost a lot of money that was owed to me and I felt betrayed.
I started an agency JK Properties
I didn’t do much for about 6 months and then I decided IfI dont do it now I need to go back to work.
Well we opened an office in Rynfield 138 pretoria rd.
And worked really hard.
Poppy Dlamini is still with me and I have also added a few more agents since then.
We are 5 Sales agents now.
1 Rental agent
We do our own Bonds.
And we have 1 Admin lady.
My dream is to turn JK Properties into an International Franchise.
O and before I forget We are developing aswell. 
I am engaged to Natasha Harris and we have 2 beautiful children 1 Boy Jayden Trent Viljoen and 1 Girl Kailey Ray Viljoen
and a few pets(reptiles). a green Iguana and 2 bearded dragons.
I am the principle agent of an Agency called JK Properties. I named it after my children.
I am trying to be an estate agent with the difference.
and I train my agents to be different.
